The Frontek extruded porcelain panel system is a unique, open-jointed cladding system that is designed to perform in the most challenging of environmental conditions. Frontek is ICC certified and compliant with International Building Codes. It is resistant to fire, corrosion, and impact with great wind-load performance.
Modern mechanical fixing systems have revolutionized the concept of ceramic placement on facades. To support the ceramic coating, Frontek presents two fully developed and designed anchoring systems. Both systems are easy to install and differ in the grip mechanism which can be by clamp, Frontek Plus, or by horizontal guides, Frontek Super-plus.
- The Frontek ventilated facade system is designed for the outside cladding of frontages through attachment to a metallic substructure by means of anchoring fixtures. This system does not affect the project’s stability.
- The insulating material applied on the exterior face of the wall and floors eliminates thermal bridges, preventing heat loss to the outside of the building in the coldest months of the year, as well as avoiding heat transfer from outside in summer. Estimated energy saving between 15% and 35% in both heating and cooling is achieved.
- When applying the insulation on the outside of the wall a greater thermal mass is provided to the building, achieving an increase of the thermal inertia with
consequent energy savings.
